This survey is part of a research project supporting a scientific monograph focused on the management of smart cities and regions in the Centrope region (Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary). The goal is to gather an overview of the development, planning, and implementation of Smart City / Smart Region solutions at the local government level.
The results will be analyzed anonymously and comparatively and will be part of a scientific monograph published by Springer (Public Administration and Information Technology series).
Who conducts the research?
The research is conducted by the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava within the project "Education for Smart Slovakia" (004UCM-4/2023). The project aims to connect education with practice in the field of smart cities and regions and to develop innovative educational content for students, professionals, and municipalities.

How long does the survey take?
The questionnaire contains about 30 questions, but the number dynamically adjusts based on your answers. The average time to complete is 7 to 10 minutes.

The following municipalities have already participated: Bratislava, Szombathely, Trnava, Jihlava, Třebíč, Písek, Piešťany, Baden, Pezinok, Břeclav, Dunajská Streda, Havlíčkův Brod, Strakonice, Vyškov, Senica, Malacky, Galanta, Sereď, Sárvár, Ternitz, Šamorín, Groß-Enzersdorf, Český Krumlov, Gerasdorf bei Wien, Veselí nad Moravou, Kuřim.
